I'll be assisting an 8 Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) program starting September 4th - October 23rd, every Tuesday.

Nourished: A 4 Series Self-Care Workshop Focusing on Nutrition, Mindfulness and Movement

The act of nourishing ourselves is a beautiful thing. Food not only satisfies us physically, but emotionally as well. We use food and eating as a way to socialize, form and strengthen bonds with family and friends, to celebrate events, and to fuel us for activity and everyday life. Many situations in life can throw us off track, making it hard for us to follow a self-care plan that feels right for us.

This 4 series workshop is designed to help you focus on finding a self-care plan that is harmonious for your life. Topics to be covered in the workshop include: nutrition, the biomechanics of stress, mindfulness, sleep, and movement. We will discuss what a healthy nutrition plan consists of, ideas for meal planning, touch lightly on Ayurveda, cravings and emotional eating, the benefits of mindfulness, and movement.

Activities: Journaling activities, meditation, movement-light yoga, body scanning, group sharing, and mindful eating exercise. 

Dates: Tuesday, May 1, May 8, May 15, May 22 from 7-9 PM

Rate: $325.00 with 50% of the proceeds going back to Mindful Harlem to build programs to promote mindfulness in the community.

Hawaii Yoga Retreat: Breath In Big Island!

Hi yogi! I will be co-facilitating a yoga and mindfulness retreat on the Big Island of Hawaii with my friend Sarah Snider! The retreat will be held at the Kalani Retreat Center in the Puna District. The retreat is open to everyone from beginners to advanced practitioners...so don't worry if you can't touch your toes! 

Sarah and I both enjoy teaching alignment-based classes, with focus on mindfulness and pranayama. The retreat price includes airport pick-up and drop-off, accommodations, 3 vegan / gluten-free meals, excursions, and 2-3 yoga classes a day. 

This is a great opportunity for you to connect with nature, connect with yourself, practice yoga and mindful meditation, eat clean and healthy food, and meet new people.
